Mrs. Mariah B. Thomas, of Marianna, Florida transitioned from life temporal to life eternal on Thursday, April 3, 2025, at Jackson Hospital in Marianna, Florida.

She was an active member of Pope Chape African Methodist Episcopal Church in Marianna, Florida.

Homegoing Celebration of Life services will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at 11:00 AM from the sanctuary of Pope Chapel AME Church located at 4898 Pope Chapel Circle in Marianna, Florida 32446 with Pastor Larry Brown, officiating.

Interment will be in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Thomas will lie in repose at the church from 10:00 AM until time for the service.

A public viewing will be held on Friday, April 11, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM at Vann Funeral Home.

She leaves to cherish a lifetime of fond, yet precious memories, a loving and devoted family:

One Daughter: Irma Thomas of Jacksonville, Florida

One Sister: Doris Liggins of Tallahassee, Florida

And a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many dear friends.
