Willis Jason Davis, Sr.

02/29/1984 - 03/31/2025

Willis “Jason” Davis was born to the late Mr. Willie James Davis, Sr. and Mrs. Daisy Bell Drayton Davis on Wednesday, February 29, 1984. He was a native of Hephzibah, Georgia and was the second oldest.

At an early age Jason gave his life to his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He was baptized at Eastland Baptist Fellowship Church of Augusta, Georgia.

Jason attended public schools in Richmond County, Hephzibah Georgia and graduated from Hephzibah High School, Class of 2002.

Fishing was his passion as well as gaming, and making music with his twin brother. Most of the time his brother and him would be mistaken for one another.

Jason was a connoisseur of food and cooking. He was an outstanding caterer and chef. He was known for his chicken wings, but his customer’s favorite was hot honey lemon pepper. Jason worked for 16 years on Fort Gordon Army Post, Fort Gordon, Georgia as chef in the dining facility. Soldiers as well as civilians took joy in his culinary skills. For his family, friends and celebrities throughout the CSRA, Jason shared his love, dedication, and took delight in preparing their meals.

Jason spent his final days as a chef working at Gas Pro Travel Center #203 in Hephzibah, Georgia. Many people who frequented the center stopped there for his food, his words of chatter, and the love he gave while serving.

Jason leaves to cherish his loving memories to his children, Cameron Fleming, Jalaysia Davis, and Willis Jason Davis, Jr. all of Hephzibah, GA; twin brother, Willie James (Jasmine) Davis, Jr. of Augusta, GA; grandmother, Virigina Drayton of Hephzibah, GA; great-aunt, Ina Williams of Augusta, GA; godmother, Alvester Walton of Atlanta, GA; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nephew, Joshua Briggs; four godbrothers, two god sisters, other family members, and loving friends.
