Mr. Frederick Taylor, 60, of Fulton, Georgia departed this life on Sunday, April 6, 2025 at Wellstar Cobb Medical Center in Austell, Georgia.
Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. in the 3rd Kiokee Baptist Church, 521 Carver Ave, Albany, GA 31701.
Interment will follow in the Riverside Cemetery, 200 Cotton Ave, Albany, Georgia 31701.
Cleamon Frederick Taylor was born on March 10, 1965 to the late James and Vernice Taylor in Thomasville, (Thomas County) Georgia. Surrounded by his loving family, Frederick Taylor peacefully transitioned on April 6, 2025. In a profound expression of his faith, he rededicated his life to Christ just moments before his passing.
Frederick Taylor accepted Jesus Christ at an early age, and his love for the Lord was evident in both his actions and his character. We knew him as “Fred” and some knew him as “Cleamon.” As the foundation of our family, Fred’s presence brought strength and unity. He will be remembered for his generous spirit and unwavering willingness to help others. We thank God for giving him such a strong, wise and caring heart. He will be deeply missed and forever cherished in our hearts.
He loved home cooking, dining out, movies, leisurely drives, traveling to different countries, and spending time with his spouse and family. One of his primary purposes was helping others succeed. If he believed someone had the right qualities, he would review resumes, edit cover letters, coach individuals on the knowledge they should possess, and provide interview tips.
Frederick received his high school education in Dougherty County, Georgia. He earned a Master of Science in Organizational Behavior and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from New York University. Throughout his career, he held various influential positions.
He served as the HR Director for Quadient, Inc., supporting the Mail Related Service division. In just two years at Quadient, Fred's influence was profound. His extensive knowledge in Human Resources made him a trusted tutor, confidant, and mentor to his peers and colleagues. His dedication went beyond professional excellence, he fostered meaningful connections, empowering others, and promoting a culture of collaboration and growth.
He was also the HR Director at XPO Logistics in Atlanta, GA, where he collaborated with key business executives to enhance employee engagement, morale, and performance during a time of significant organizational change.
As HR Director, PRGX Global, Inc., Atlanta, GA, he established and administered global Human Resources protocols, ensured compliance, and aligned company objectives with daily operations.
He was the HR Director at Ogilvy & Mather in New York, NY where he developed and sustained all North American people strategies for the Digital Media business, aligning with organizational initiatives and implementing competencies to improve succession planning, talent acquisition, and staff development.
At Vonage in New Jersey, as the HR Director he coached and directed HR business partners in EEOC compliant staff interactions and hiring policies to maintain a flawless record.
He also served as the HR Director at Samsung in New Jersey, collaborating with legal counsel to handle domestic employee relations issues with precision.
Additionally, Frederick worked at Colgate-Palmolive in New York as the Global HR Manager and HR Director, serving internationally in the Czech Republic, Budapest, Hungary, the Slovak Republic, and Senegal, West Africa.

Frederick was welcomed into his heavenly home by his parents, James and Vernice Taylor; his brother, Jeffery Taylor; grandparents, Fred and Ollie Keaton, and Estelle Christon; and other family members who preceded him in death.
He leaves behind Hubert Brown, spouse and life partner of 39 years (Atlanta, GA), who dedicated endless time & efforts to his all around care. He also leaves to forever cherish his memory, his loving sister, Sara Flowers Proctor (Washington, DC); Nephews: Cedrick Ward (Naomi) of Albany, GA; Dorian Taylor, of Los Angeles, CA; Nieces: Tiffany Hansford (Dwight) of Baltimore, MD, Tommia Tabron (Alonzo) of Atlanta, GA; Elga Wynn, of Atlanta, GA; Aunt, Thomasina Russwll (Walter) of Vernon CT; Cousins: Sandra D. Howell of Detroit, MI, James E. Howell, Jr (Lori) of Greensboro, NC, Ira N. Howell (Jackie) of Atlanta, GA; Brian Christon, Charles Russell (Susan), Brenda Russell of Vernon, CT, Cornelious Christon (Betty Jean) of Atlanta, GA, Annette Crigler Washington (Issac), Dexter Christon (West Palm Beach, FL) and a host of other dear relatives and friends.
