Chelsea Leann Mann was born February 2, 1993, to Stacy Mann and Willie Neal, Jr. She was raised by Audrey and Jerry Bundy, Jr. for a short time in Lafayette but then moved with them to Atlanta Georgia. Chelsea attended Westlake High School. She participated in chorus and Color Guard. Upon graduation from Westlake, she attended Georgia State University (GSU) where she graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Math. While at GSU, Chelsea participated in work study working at the Lanette Suttles Child Development Center. At the conclusion of work study, Chelsea became a full-time employee at the Child Care Center under the University System of Georgia where she obtained tenure. Her work ethic and dedication earned her a promotion to Administrative Assistant.
Chelsea was an avid reader and loved music. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Chelsea was beautiful inside and out. She cared for those around her; lending a hand or a smile where she could. She was as smart as she was beautiful. She always was finding new ways to keep learning and living. She learned to crochet this past year.
In April 2024, Chelsea was diagnosed with a brain tumor. Her witty sense of humor stayed with her as she jokingly said, “This was not on my Bingo card.” Chelsea went through a year of treatment which impacted her physically but did not shake her spiritually. She remained steadfast in her belief in His everlasting love. On April 13, 2025, Chelsea went home to be with the Lord. She is now reunited, her father Willie Neal, Jr., grandfather Willie Neal, Sr. grandmother Kathleen Neal, grandfather James Montgomery, brother C.J., Uncles Dennis Chambers, Roderick Jackson and Bryne Jackson.
