Obituary For Rev. Lee Green

Funeral service for Rev. Lee A. Green, 70 of Lindale will be held on Saturday, 11 am at People's Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Marcus Jackson, host pastor, Rev. Will Jenkins, officiating and Dr. D.C. Brown serving as eulogist.

Burial will be held in Carmel Cemetery in Lindale under the direction of John R. Harmon Undertaking Company.

Rev. Green was born on August 7, 1948 and transitioned on September 21, 2018. He was a graduate of Bragg Morris School and attended Tyler Junior College. He was a life resident of Smith County and a member of Duck Creek Missionary Baptist Church. Rev. Green served as former associate pastor of St. James Baptist Church and was currently serving as associate pastor of Duck Creek Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lee Ernest and Doris Green along with one sister. Those left to cherish his memories are his spouse, Minister Odelia Green, Lindale, sons; Lee Green, Jr., Houston, Jimmie Vickers Dews, Tyler and Noel Vickers Dews, San Marcos, daughter; Patricia Le'Gale Green, Mansfield, brother; C.J. Green, Lindale, fourteen grandchildren and one great grandchild. Dinner will be served immediately after the funeral service in the fellowship hall before proceeding to the burial.
