KNICKLAUS DEVION BOWMAN entered this world on April 28, 2004, in Greensboro, Georgia. He was the beloved son of Tina White and Kenya Bowman. From the very beginning, Knicklaus stood out not only for his intelligence but for the boldness and light he brought with him. His heart was tender, his spirit strong, and his presence unforgettable.
Knicklaus was the kind of person who loved deeply and lived fully. He was a devoted son, a protective brother, and a loyal friend. A proud graduate of Greene County High School, Class of 2022, Knicklaus had an insatiable curiosity. He was teaching himself Japanese and Spanish just for the love of learning. His mind was always active, and his interests reflected his vibrant spirit.
HE had a deep affection for animals and worked at The Helping Hands Humane Society with care and dedication, especially under the guidance of Mary Jones. Knicklaus’s compassion knew no bounds whether caring for animals or encouraging his younger brother in drawing Anime murals, he gave of himself wholeheartedly.
A true Anime lover, Knicklaus poured his energy into designing his own room mural, beginning with Sonic the Hedgehog. He approached everything with passion - whether it was his art, his favorite shows like Star Wars, or his music, especially the lyrics and stories told by J. Cole. A loyal Baltimore Ravens fan, a gamer at heart, and a friend who always made time for others, Knicklaus created bonds that ran deep.
HIS connection with his best friend Yordy was special - a friendship filled with laughter, late-night gaming, and conversations that meant something. That loyalty extended to all his friends, who knew they could count on him to listen, stand up, and show love in his own powerful way.
Knicklaus transitioned from this life far too soon. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Teresa White and his great-grandparents, Morris and Beverly Brooks.
Knicklaus leaves behind a family and community deeply touched by his life and grieving his loss. He is survived by his loving parents, Tina White and Kenya Bowman; his brothers, Darryl Mathis, Roemell White, and Knolan Bowman; his grandparents, Floyd and Valeria Bowman, and Mark and Karla White; and his great-grandmother, Patricia White.
HE is also remembered with love by his aunts and uncles: Lowanda (Bernando) Brown, Passion Carmichael, Tamera Hall, Tanya Terrell, Shanay White and Michael White. His cousins Kennedy Bivens, Jonathan White, Alexis Hall, Ashley Hall, Maddox White, Daylon Smith, Jordan Sampong, Elena and Isabella Goicoechea join a host of extended family and friends in holding his memory close.
Though Knicklaus’s time on earth was brief, it was filled with purpose, passion, and a love that endures. His voice, his laughter, and his bold spirit will echo into the lives of those he touched. He lives on in every story shared, every sketch unfinished, and every heart that remembers him.
