Celebration of Life Services for James Ronald Kirkland, Jr., of Decatur, will be held Wednesday, April 23, 2025; 11:00 A.M. at First Iconium Baptist Church, 542 Moreland Avenue, SE Atlanta, Georgia 30316. Reverend Timothy McDonald, III, Pastor and Reverend Donald Yates, Officiant. The remains will be placed in state at 10:00 A.M. Interment Washington Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends this evening (Tuesday) at the mortuary from 5:00 - 7:00 P.M.

He leaves to cherish his memories, wife, Micole T. Kirkland; mother, Wanda D. Moore; daughter, Janay R. Kirkland; sister, Tezlyn Vinyard; brother, Christopher Moore; many uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the church at 10:30 A.M.
