Mrs. Louise Leach of Gadsden, AL, passed away on Monday, April 21, 2025.
She is survived by her loving family.
Ms. Louise Leach, affectionately known as “Lou Lou”, was born on October 22,1938 to the union of Howard and Leola Lancaster in Wedowee, Alabama.
At the age of eighteen, she accepted Christ as her personal savior and united with the Fellowship Baptist Church on Avenue C. She sang faithfully in the choir until her health declined, and she could no longer attend.
She love to sing, dance, an go to church.
She met and married Nathaniel Leach.
She is preceded in death by: Her parents, Howard and Leola Lancaster; husband, Nathaniel Leach; sisters, Marie Leach, Margaret Lancaster and Ann Lancaster; brother, Amos Lancaster; nieces, Onetha Walker and Alethea Palmore; nephew, Thomas Usher.
On April 21, 2025, Louise heard and answered her heavenly call and entered into eternal rest until the coming of her Savior Jesus Christ.
Precious memories will be cherished by: her nieces, Priscilla (Willie) Leach, of Indiana, Felecia (James) Keen, Gadsden, AL, Tomeka Lancaster of Georgia; nephews, Clay (Renae) Usher of Gadsden, AL, and James (Kenyatta) Leach; special friend, Mrs. Rose Sanders; special cousin, Lonnie Mae Miller; special great niece, Cassandra Keen, a host of great-nieces, great nephews, cousins, other family and friends.
Public Visitation will take place from 12pm-5pm on Tuesday, April 29, 2025 at West Gadsden Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will take place at 2pm on Wednesday, April 30, 2025 at West Gadsden Funeral Home.
