Michael Douglas Williams passed away peacefully at his home in Elephant Butte, New Mexico, on April 17, 2025. He was born on August 2, 1954, in Odessa, Texas. Michael graduated from Hobbs High School in Hobbs, NM, before proudly serving in the U.S. Navy. After his military service, he embarked on a path of entrepreneurship, founding Fiberglass Repair and later Home Inspection Service. He shared a devoted life with his wife, Mary Lou Williams. United in faith and love, a born-again Christian, Michael lived with the hope and assurance of eternal life through Jesus Christ. Michael will be remembered for his corny jokes and infectious humor that brought joy to those around him. He shared a deep and enduring love for his wife, Mary Lou Williams. Together they created a life filled with love, laughter and companionship. Their fur baby, Daisy, was always by their side and remains a cherished part of the family. Michael found happiness in simple moments in life. He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Mary Lou; siblings- Ronald Vinson Crockett (Patti) of Las Cruces, NM; Linda K. Blackwood (Bobby) of Winston, NM; Billy Joe Crockett (Angie) of Crosby, TX; Terry Crockett (Sheila) of Little Rock, AR; sister-in-law Pam Crockett of Crosby, TX; Uncle Vic and Aunt Tracine Duran of Cortez, CO; brother-in law, John Voll (Kathy) of San Diego, CA; along with numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends. Michael was preceded in death by his mother, Edna Mae Crockett; sisters- Debbie Varner and Vicki Trevino; brothers- Donnie and Johnny Crockett; father- and mother-in-law, Frank and Lorene Voll; and brother-in-law, Terry Voll. He leaves behind many friends and loved ones who will miss him dearly but will carry forward the love he brought to so many lives. Michael, you will be forever missed but never forgotten. May his memory bring comfort to all who knew and loved him.
