Ty'Jae Kahirien McClurkin was born on September 15, 2000. He entered into eternal rest on April 17, 2025. He attended Mary H. Wright and Lakeland High School in Florida.

Ty'Jae played football for the C.C. Woodson Redskins.

He previously attended Community Bibleway Church.

His first job he ever had was at Siemens and he loved working there.

Ty'Jae loved hanging around and telling jokes.

Left to Cherish fond and loving memories are: his mother, Sheila (Derrick) Rookard; his mother, Shenika Johnson; his father, Timothy McClurkin; his paternal grandmother, Betty McClurkin; his maternal grandmother, Shirley Lecounte; his sisters, Timberly McClurkin, Danyetta Johnson, Amaysha Brewer and Tyonia McClurkin; his brother, Curshon Garrett, Bennie Johnson (Chiquan), Branden Johnson (Crystal), John Fowler, Timothy McClurkin, Timareon McClurkin and Kamareon McClurkin; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2025 at 2:00 pm at The John Stinson Woodward Memorial Chapel, Spartanburg, SC. Burial will be in the Foster’s Grove Church Cemetery, Inman, SC.
