Mr. William Lee Barnett, 79, of Elizabethtown, died Thursday, April 24, 2025 at Kindred Hospital in Louisville, KY.

He was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy, Hodgenville where he served as deacon, devotional leader and greeter. He was the employee of the year at Cardinal Carrier and Rockit Trucking Co.

He was preceded in death by his father Essie Barnett; his mother, Lucille Thornton; a daughter, Melissa Ann Barnett; a sister Lillie Artice Barnett; four brothers, Cody Barnett, Frankie Barnett, James Nummon Barnett and Joe Thomas Barnett; a son-in-law, Paul Davis.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Willaroz Walker Barnett; a son Will Barnett, Jr. (Angie); daughters, Emi Barnett and Charlotte Davis; eight grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; four sisters, Martha Sue Welch, Lucinda Barnett, Barbara Jean Barnett and Anna Mary Barnett.

Visitation 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 3, 2025 at Percell Sons Funeral Home.
