Obituary For Albert Kelly

Albert Michael Kelly, affectionately known as “Mickey” was born on January 8, 1952 in Gainesville, Florida to Albert and Marie Kelly.

Albert attended Lincoln High School, although he graduated from Job Corps. Mickey played football in the 1970’s for the Florida Agriculture and Mechanical University (FAMU) Football team, later joining the National Rattlers “F” Club, Inc. where he was an Executive Board Member. Kelly was an indistinct member of the Masonic Lodge – Okeechobee, Florida.

Albert M. Kelly was a member of 13th Street Church of God “Greater Faith” where he joined under the leadership of the Late Bishop John T. Archer. Brother Kelly was a willing worker in the Men’s Department, completing whatever tasks asked of him from reading scripture to doing the Welcome. Brother Kelly began his work ethics with the Florida Department of Corrections in which he achieved the rank of Corporal. Later, he was employed with Eckerd’s Juvenile Program. He went on to work with the St. Lucie School Board, joining the family of St. Lucie West Centennial High School as a Football Coach and Support Staff until retirement. Throughout his career, Coach Kelly has mentored, trained, and motivated numerous athletes throughout his career. Albert met the love of his life Victoria Rolle in Tallahassee, Florida almost 23 years ago. Albert was a loving and devoted husband whom loved to travel and watching Western Motion Pictures. Mickey was a counselor, very compassionate; guiding those whom he encountered on a daily basis.

On September 19, 2018 Brother Albert Michael Kelly yielded to the call, and went home to be with the Lord, where he joins family members who predeceased him his parents: Albert and Marie Kelly, Sister, Ida Mae “Tootsie” Kelly; brother, Clearance Kelly; special cousin, Havert Fenn.

The Kelly family will forever remember Coach Kelly in a Happy Way: left to cherish his love and memories are: his devoted and loving wife, Victoria Kelly; daughters: Cykeithia Kelly of Okeechobee, Fl, Natassia Kelly of Arkansas, and Kennithia (Reginald) Williams; step-daughter, of Stuart FL; sisters: Ruby Mae Ford, Glory Kelly, Christine Kelly, Elizabeth Brooks,and Shirley Kelly all from Gainesville, Fl; brothers: James Johnson of New York; Lawrence Kelly of Gainesville, Roderick Kelly of Tampa, Fl; God-Son Byrce Hall of Tacoma, Washington; sister in-laws: Loretta Rolle, Lettia Rolle-Chester (Charles) of Fort Pierce, FL, Cynthia Rolle (Peter) and Wanda Rolle of Orlando, Fl, and Charlene Kelly of Gainesville; brother in-laws: Victor Rolle Jr. and Prince Rolle of Orlando, Florida; special friends; Kenneth Hall, Curtis Taylor, Ron Parker, John Mc Cina, Mike Farley, Robert Carter , Wolfe, Bamba, Apostle Robert Armstrong, Luther Robinson, KC (Kenneth Clark), Ronald Dampier, Tommie Lifhred, Bent, Joann Frank, Alexander, Jerome, and Samantha and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins and sorrowing friends that will miss him dearly.

A Visitation for Mr. Albert M. Kelly will be held from 1– 3p.m and a wake service from 3 - 5 p.m. on Friday, September 28, 2018 at 13th Street Church of God - "Greater Faith" . A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at 13th Street Church of God - "Greater Faith" – Fort Pierce. Interment in Riverview Memorial Park.
