Veleka Michelle McLean, 53, Of Gastonia, North Carolina transitioned on Saturday, April 26, 2025 at Caromont Health of Gastonia, North Carolina

She was born in Lincoln County, North Carolina on October 13, 1971 to Mary Lois Smith and the late Cal McLean Sr.

Veleka graduated from Lincolnton High School.

Funeral Service will be Saturday, May 3, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Providence Missionary Baptist Church with burial to follow in Hollybrook Cemetery. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service.

A public viewing will be Friday, May 2, 2025 at the funeral home from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.
