Memorial Service for Juanita Brooks, 68, of Opelika, AL, will be from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., Saturday, May 3, 2025, at Deb’s Place Event Center, 1534 2nd Avenue Suite 2, Opelika, Alabama, 36801.

Ms. Brooks, who passed away Monday, April 21, 2025 at the East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, Alabama, was born November 10, 1956, in Lee County, Alabama.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory: one daughter, LaShica Brooks of Opelika, AL; three grandchildren, La’Quavious Milner, Jarki Brooks and Keaveya Williams all of Opelika, AL; one great-grandchild, Jazayden Milner of Opelika, AL; four close friends as sisters, Elaine (Terry) Williams, Patricia Reese, Ellie Pevy all of Opelika, AL and Jackie Myrers of New Orleans, LA; three beloved cousins, Ann Story, Kajerria Swain both of Atlanta, GA and Kelvin Lockhart of Opelika, AL; three god-children, Kendra (Markeith) Marable of Pensacola FL, Latosha Marshall of Lanett, AL and Justin Marshall of Auburn, AL; a host of cousins and friends.
