It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Ms. Danielle Shakella Jenkins on April 22, 2025, at her residence in Louisville, Georgia. Danielle's life was filled with love, dedication, and a spirit that touched the hearts of many.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held in her honor on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at 1:00 PM at the Hardeman Springfield Baptist Church, 5116 Belmont Road, Louisville, GA.

Interment will take place at the Hardeman Springfield Church Cemetery.

Danielle was born on January 3, 1984, to Thoneal Young Sr. and Glorestine Jenkins. At an early age she joined the Hardmen Springfield Baptist Church. She graduated from Jefferson County High School in 2003, where she cultivated lasting friendships and cherished memories. Danielle became a valued member of the Shaw Industries team, working diligently as a Twisting Operator in the Carpet Department. Her work ethic and commitment to excellence were evident in every task she undertook.

Danielle is preceded in death by her father, Mr. Thoneal Young Sr.

She is lovingly remembered and survived by her mother, Ms. Glorestine Jenkins; her daughter, Hailey Washington; and her sister, Uneshia Brown, all from Louisville, Georgia. Additionally, she is survived by her brother, Thoneal Young Jr., of Florida, her half-sister, Rhonda Fraizer, of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, and her half-brother, Demetrius Young.

Danielle cherished her extended family, including her aunts: Phyllis Jenkins, Myra Williams, Gloria Young, Jewel Young, Debra Young, and Angela Young, all from Pompano, Florida. Her uncles, Penn Jenkins of San Antonio, Texas, Oliver Jenkins Jr. of Milledgeville, Georgia, Michael Brown of Statesboro, Georgia, and Danny Young of North Carolina, also hold her memory dear.

She is remembered fondly by her great aunts, Minnie Lincolnton of Bridgeston, New Jersey, and Leila Seabrooks and Smithie Jenkins, both from Louisville, Georgia. Danielle's legacy continues through her beloved nieces and nephews: Etyah (Chantel) Brown of Augusta, Georgia; Rodnetria Mills of Lumberton, New Jersey; Roderick (Danielle) Mills Jr. of Louisville, Georgia; Tylin Tomlin of Sandersville, Georgia; Roman Hynson of Louisville, Georgia; and Jaxon and Jasmine Capobianco of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Her great-nieces and great-nephews include Italy Mills, Nala Brown, Roderick Mills III, and Kamari McDaniels.

Danielle valued her special friendships, particularly with LaTisha Burke and Elisha Tucker. Her spirit and love will remain in the hearts of all who knew her.

There will be no public viewing.

Davis Funeral Home, located at 725 Beech Street in Louisville, is in charge of the arrangements for Ms. Danielle Shakella Jenkins.
