Christina Godette Carter, 70 a native of the Craven Corner Community of Havelock,NC., passed at her residence Sunday April 27, 2025.

The family will receive friends at the home of her mother-in-law, Mrs. Victoria Carter, 725 Temples Point Road, Havelock, May 14-16, 2025.

Funeral services 12:00 PM., Saturday, May 17, 2025, Craven Corner M.B. Church. Interment will follow in the William & Gracie Godette Cemetery.

She is survived by her husband, Overseer Alvin S. Carter; son Tremayne M. Carter Sr.; daughter Vonetta A. Carter; grandchildren, Brianna Carter, Naylani Carter, Tremayne M. Carter, Jr., and Dominic Jenkins all of Charlotte; brothers, Thurman Godette, Johnnie Godette, William Godette, Jr., all of Havelock; sisters, Esther Pugh and Teresa Palmer of Virginia Beach.
