MRS. LINDA DIANNE CAREATHERS DAVIS – AGE 68, - Of Chickamauga, Georgia passed away on Sunday, May 4, 2025 with her family at her bedside. She was born on October 15, 1956 to the late D. L. Careathers and Luella Moton Careathers. Family who preceded her are her son, Aubrey “Price” Farmer, Jr., four brothers, Kenneth, Charles, George, and Donald Careathers, two sisters, Gloria Careathers, and Carrie McCutchens. She was a graduate of Walker County Schools. For many years, Mrs. Davis was employed at Roper Corporation and lastly employed at Hutchens Medical Center. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.

Survivors are her loving and devoted husband of forty-two years, Jefferson Daniel Davis; one son, Barron “Tony” Farmer; eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren; sister, Ella B. Cleveland; brother, L. D. Careathers; sisters-in-law, and brothers-in-law; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, friends, and her church family.

Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2025 at 12:00 noon at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, 247 Southern Road, Chickamauga, Georgia 30707 with Pastor William Tramble as Presider and Rev. Harry Reeves, Jr. as Eulogist. The family will receive friends at the church one hour before the service. Interment, Garmany Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Willis Funeral Home, Inc., Dalton, Georgia.
