Obituary For Caroline Bostic

Caroline Yvonne House Bostic, 79, of Terry Dr., Oberlin, transitioned into eternal life on Tuesday, September 25 at UPMC Harrisburg Hospital. She was born in Harrisburg, daughter of the late Charles D., Sr. and Mary Alice (Fleming) House, a 1958 graduate of the Old Steelton High School, retired from the former New Cumberland Army Depot, a member of Prince of Peace Parish and in her leisure, enjoyed bowling, traveling and bingo. In addition to her parents, Caroline was preceded in death by her siblings, Charlene House and Charles "Tex" House, Jr. and leaves to celebrate her life, her beloved husband, J. C. Bostic, Sr.; her daughters and sons-in-law, Jaylyn and Tony Morris and Kimberlee and Jermaine Thompson; her sons and daughter-in-law, James Calvin Bostic, Jr. and Eric and Dara Bostic; her nine grandchildren, her great grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The Celebration of her life will begin with a viewing on Wednesday, October 3 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Major H. Winfield Funeral Home, Steelton and continue with a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, October 4 at 10:30 a.m. in the Sanctuary of Prince of Peace, 815 S. 2nd St., Steelton with viewing 9:30 until 10:30 a.m. and burial in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
