Ms. Cornelious Sankey, a resident of Ramer, AL, passed away April 29, 2025. Funeral service will be held Saturday, May 10, 2025 at 12:00 noon from Elizabeth Missionary Baptist Church, 15617 Troy Highway, Mathews, AL 36052. Burial will follow in the churchyard cemetery. Family hour will be Friday, May 9, 2025 from 6:00pm - 7:00pm in the Ross-Clayton Funeral Home Chapel and public viewing hours are 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

She was born to the late Evelena Sankey McDade and King Sankey. She was proceeded in death by her parents, one son Jerome Sankey, one sister Leola Smart.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories six Daughters: Brenda Swanson, Linda Sankey, Jacqueline (David) Howard, Teresa Ivey, Janice Sankey, Natalie Sankey: Three sons: Dan Sankey, George Sankey, Roger Sankey: Two Sisters: Jessie Pearl Rhodes and Mossie (Samuel) Thomas, Step-Brother Tim McDade and beloved nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
