Cornelius Lydell Hayes was born in Mullins, South Carolina on May 4, 1975 to Ruby Dale and Luther Gordon Jackson. He departed this earthly life on Saturday, October 6, 2018.

He attended the Dillon County Public Schools, Dillon, South Carolina.

NeNe was a neat freak, he loved cleaning, telling jokes and was able to quote the Bible from the beginning to the end.

He was employed at McCall Farms for some years.

Cornelius was preceded in death by his grandfathers: LeDell Hayes and George McLeod.

He leaves to cherish his loving memories ~ his parents: Ruby Dale and Luther Gordon Jackson of Dillon, SC; a second mother: Betty Hayes; grandmothers: Bertha Hayes and Gertrude Jackson; sisters: Selena Hayes, Crystal Jackson, Lucinda Gilchrist all of Dillon, SC, Javonna Johnson of Charlotte, NC, Martricia Bethea of High Point, NC, Courtney Jackson and NyKela Jackson both of Lumberton, NC and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
