Obituary For Mrs. Janice Foster

Mrs. Janice L. Durrah "Joyce" Foster was born on December 2, 1954. A native of Spartanburg County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Nannie Davis and Johnny Oglesby and reared in the home of the late Joe and Hettie Durrah.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Durrah Linder and a nephew Hussani Linder.

"Joyce" was a member of Harrison Grove Baptist Church.

She leaves to cherish fond and loving memories to: her loving husband of forty-six years, Robert Foster; her son, Bryon (Veronda) Foster; her daughter, Tonya Foster; her five grandchildren, Keshunta "Keke", Tykeyah "Jackie", Bryant, Brianna "Bree" and Tamekia; her six great-grandchildren; her six brothers, Jay (Viola) Durrah, Ricky Dawkins, Leonard Posey, Kenny Dawkins, Frank A. Davis and Charles A Davis; her four sisters, Ann M. Yeargin, Genell Omige, Harriett Davis, Gracie Davis; her five sisters-in-law; her two brothers-in-law; her three aunts, Hazel (Lewis) Dawkins, Ethel Durrah and Sarah Brockman; her special uncle, William Dawkins; her very special niece, Wanda (Wayne)Wilkins; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A Celebration of the Life of Janice Foster will be held on Thursday, October 11, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Harrison Grove Baptist Church, 299 Harrison Grove Rd., Roebuck, SC. Rev. Allen V. Rector will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
