Obituary For Clifford Springer

Clifford T. Springer

Clifford Theodore Springer was born June 15, 1923 to the late Clifford Theodore Benjamin Springer and Dorothy Taylor. Mr. Springer entered into eternal rest on October 7, 2018. He was the husband of the late Polly Ann Springer.

Mr. Springer was a member of Foster Chapel Baptist Church where he was a member of the Sunday School Class 2 and the Mission Society.

Clifford served honorably in World War II and was discharged in December of 1945. Mr. Springer retired in 2004 after nineteen years of service with District 7 School Bus Transportation. He was previously employed with the Sanitation Department in New York for nineteen years and several jobs in the NY Garment District.

Clifford was preceded in death by a son, Dennis Springer.

Left to cherish fond and loving memories are: his sons, Clifford Ronald Springer of Newark, NJ and Clifford Bernard (Natalie) Springer of Anderson, SC; his daughters, Christine Dorothy Springer of Bronx, NY, Theresa Springer of Spartanburg, SC and Cynthia (Lester) Bell of Spartanburg, SC; his special friend, Eugenia Gregory Foster.

A Celebration of the Life of Clifford Theodore Springer will be held on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Foster Chapel Baptist Church, 805 Spartanburg Hwy., Jonesville, SC. The Rev. William E. Smith will officiate. Burial will be in the Heritage Memorial Gardens, 3901 S. Church St., Roebuck, SC.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 12, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
