Earlene was born on Monday, September 12, 1932, in Talladega, Alabama, to Adolphus and Fannie Mae Twyman. She was the eighth of thirteen children.
Earlene was a devout member of Africa Missionary Baptist Church in her earlier years before her job led her to settle in Reynoldsburg, Ohio. Her faith remained an important part of her life throughout her years as she became a member and worshipped at all denominations of faith.
Earlene graduated from Sycamore High School in 1952, marking the beginning of a long and accomplished career. She served as a communications technician with AT&T, dedicating more than 30 years to the company before retiring on December 31, 1993.
She is survived by her cherished sister, Mae F. Flowers of Chicago, IL, along with her sisters Johnnie Mae Estell, Maddie Estell, and Ida Lee Twyman of Talladega, AL. Earlene also leaves behind a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and dear friends who will forever remember her kindness, sense of humor, and unwavering support.
Earlene Twyman, beloved sister, aunt, cousin, and friend, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 12, 2025, at the age of 92 in Reynoldsburg, Ohio. Adolphus and Fannie Mae Twyman, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by nine of her siblings.
Earlene's family wishes to extend their sincerest gratitude to all those who have offered love and support during this difficult time. Her legacy will continue to inspire those fortunate enough to have known her.
