Garry Lee Hinson was born on October 12, 1985, to Garry Lee Rorie and Molly Jane Hinson in Anson County. He passed away on Friday, May 2, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and cherished memories among family and friends.
He attended the public schools of Anson County and developed a strong work ethic throughout his life.
Garry worked for Perdue Farms in Rockingham, North Carolina, as a sanitation crew member, where he contributed to maintaining cleanliness and safety standards.
He passed away on Friday, May 2, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and cherished memories among family and friends.
Garry loved everyone deeply. He had an indestructible love for his family and enjoyed spending time with them and his friends. Before leaving, Garry always expressed his affection by telling everyone he loved them and giving them hugs. He was a respectable man who took pride in everything he did.
Garry was preceded in death by his mother, Molly Hinson, and his brother, Jerry Rorie. He was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Dorothy Mae Rorie, B.C. Rorie and Edna Hinson.
Left to forever cherish his memories are his father, Garry Rorie of the home; his loving children, Samiya Sellers, Adrianna Sellers, Da'Keem Hinson, Dynasty Hinson, Dinah Hinson, his unborn daughter, Kamari Hinson, and a son of Fayetteville, NC. He is also survived by his siblings, Timothy Rorie, Terel Rorie and Deseray Rorie, along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
A Memorial Service to Celebrate Garry's life was held on Saturday, May 10, 2025 at Smith's Memorial Chapel, 604 Salisbury Street, Wadesboro, North Carolina.
