It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Mary Frances Ford Johnson.

Mary Frances Ford Johnson departed her life on May 12th, 2025 at 3:05 am. She joins her husband (Edward Sr.), daughters (Mildred and Wanda), parents, siblings, and nieces. She was a licensed surgical scrub nurse and a published author. As an avid Christian, she would help anyone in need of life’s necessities without thought of reward or payment. Her calling was to help everyone she met on life’s journey.

Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, May 17, 2025 at Philadelphia P.B. Church with burial at Tallahassee Memory Gardens.

Viewing will be from 11 A.M. to 6 P.M. Friday, May 16, 2025 at Strong & Jones Funeral Home.
