Charlie Jerry, Jr., entered into rest Monday, May 12, 2025, in Wellstar MCG Medical Center.

Mr. Jerry was born October 15, 1932, to the late Arthur and Louise Bettis.

He lived a life full of love for his family and friends. He was employed by Mabus Brothers Trucking Company for 32 years until his retirement. He enjoyed numerous things such as traveling and fishing.

Preceded in death by three brothers, Thomas Jerry, Albert Jerry, and Robert Bouknight; one sister, Annie Jerry; three children, Charles (Annie Pearl) Jerry, Abraham Jerry and Richard (Viola) Jerry; one grandson, Melvin Jerry.

He is survived by his wife, Helen Jerry; four children, Mary Jerry of Ridge Spring, SC, Geneva (Willie) Campbell of Johnston, SC, Charley (Mami) Jerry of Monetta, SC and Debra Jerry of Ridge, Spring, SC; a niece, Martha Bouknight; 17 grandchildren and a host of great grands and relatives.

Funeral services will be Saturday, May 17, 2025, at 12 o'clock noon at Richmond Hill Baptist Church, 5194 Story Mill Road, Hephzibah, Georgia 30815. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
