Sherrfield Carol Hill, 72, of Spartanburg, SC entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at Emory Long Term Acute Care in Decatur, GA. Ms. Hill was born on November 26, 1945 in Spartanburg, SC to the late Jessie Margaret White and William Derrall White.

She is survived by: her five children, Sonya Hill, David C. Hill, Jr., Barry Hill, Charitee Hill and Brandy Hill Rice and her children's father, David Charles Hill; her siblings, Sylvia Powell McDonald, Sharon Powell Colbert, Consuelo Romanski, Herbert E. Powell, Rosemary Powell, Harriett Marcella Crawford and Paul Willoughby; her eleven grandchildren; and her three great-grandchildren.

Ms. Hill graduated from Carver High School, Class of 1964. She attended Spartanburg Technical College and used her skill as an Office Clerk at The Department of Social Services.She was previously employed at Butte Knitting Mill as a Spinner and retired from Proffitts Department Store.

Funeral Services for Sherrfield Carol Hill will be held on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at The John Stinson Woodward Memorial Chapel, 602 Howard St., Spartanburg, SC. Rev. Jerry Louis Gadsden will officiate. Burial will be in the Lincoln Memorial Gardens, 2310 Cannons Campground Rd., Drayton, SC.

The family will receive friends at the home, 204 Dahalia Dr., Moore, SC.
