Sandra Leigh Rowland, known affectionately as Inky Dink, was the beloved daughter of the late Jack Paul McClinton, Sr. and the late Shirley Temple McClinton. She was born in Harrisburg, PA. On Tuesday, May 13, 2025 she peacefully entered into eternal rest at the age of 61 at the UPMC Community General Osteopathic Hospital surrounded by her children.

Sandra received her formal education at Harrisburg High School and later earned an associate degree in accounting from Harrisburg Area Community College. She pursued her bachelor’s degree in accounting from Penn State University, Harrisburg Campus.

On March 22, 2025, Sandra retired from the Pennsylvania Public School Employees’ Retirement System (PSERS). In addition to her educational and professional accomplishments, she had a deep love for rehabilitating homes while working as a realtor with Coldwell Banker and Jack Gaughan Realtor.

Preceding her in death, along with her parents, was her devoted husband, Lorenzo Clayton Rowland, Sr. and she is survived by her three daughters, Heidi Lynn McClinton, Rachel Elizabeth McClinton, Rebecca Alyse McClinton and her son, Oliver Clayton Rowland, all of Harrisburg, PA. She is also survived by her sister, Renee McClinton of Harrisburg, PA and her five brothers, Jack Paul McClinton, Jr. (Suzanne McClinton) of Laurel, Maryland, Jeffrey Byron McClinton, Larry Eugene McClinton of Harrisburg, PA, Colonel (Ret.) Gregory Randolph McClinton (Vicky McClinton) of Virginia Beach, Virginia and Stephen Ryan McClinton of Camp Hill, PA. Sandra cherished her six grandchildren, Na’eem Shabazz Dow, Nazeer Malik McClinton, Jacqueline Victoria Brown, Jonah Paul McClinton Belle, Jade Elizabeth McClinton and Juliana Alyse McClinton. Sandra will also be greatly missed by a host of other family, friends and co-workers.

Sandra's life will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 22, 2025 in the Chapel of the Major H. Winfield Funeral Home, Steelton with visitation from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. and burial in William Howard Day Cemetery.
