Con profundo tristeza anunciamos el fallecimiento de Jesús Carlos Sánchez Corrales, conocido cariñosamente como Chuy, quien nos dejó el sábado 17 de mayo de 2025 en El Paso, Texas. Nacido en Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, México, hijo de Ramón Sánchez y Ramona Corrales, Chuy fue un hombre de fe inquebrantable, generosidad ilimitada y entusiasmo por la vida. A lo largo de su vida, trabajó diligentemente en varios estados, con sus funciones más recientes en el New Mexico State Veterans Center y el Sierra Health Care Center. Chuy era conocido por su estilo impecable, siempre vestía con elegancia y exudaba calidez y amabilidad. Encontró alegría bailando, viajando y pasando tiempo en el casino jugando bingo. Sobre todo, apreciaba los momentos con su familia y amigos, cocinando para ellos muy seguido y compartiendo risas. Un hombre devoto, Chuy mantuvo su fe religiosa cerca de su corazón, encontrando fuerza y consuelo en sus creencias. Su presencia será profundamente extrañada por todos los que tuvimos el privilegio de conocerlo. El legado de Chuy sigue viviendo en los corazones de sus queridos, y su memoria seguirá inspirando a quienes recuerden su amabilidad y alegría por la vida. A Chuy le sobreviven sus hermanos: Rosendo, Lucía, Leonardo, Marisela, Martín, Enrique, Silvia y Ramona; su cuñado, José O. García, quien fue un padre para él; así como numerosos sobrinas, sobrinos y amigos. Los servicios van a ser en la Funeraria Kirikos Family Funeral Home el viernes 30 de mayo de 2025, comenzando con un velorio de 5:00 a 9:00 p.m., se rezará un rosario a las 6:00 p.m. Una Misa de Entierro Cristiano será el sábado 31 de mayo de 2025 a la 1:00 p.m. en la Iglesia Católica Our Lady of Perpetual Help, oficiada por el Padre Peter Okonkwo. La cremación será después de la misa.

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Jesus Carlos Sanchez Corrales, lovingly known as Chuy, who left us on Saturday, May 17, 2025, in El Paso, Texas.
Born in Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, Mexico, to Ramon Sanchez and Ramona Corrales, Chuy was a man of unwavering faith, boundless generosity, and a zest for life. Throughout his life, he worked diligently across various states, with his most recent roles at the New Mexico State Veteran’s Home and Sierra Health Care Center.
Chuy was known for his impeccable style, always dressing elegantly and exuding warmth and kindness. He found joy in dancing, traveling, and spending time at the casino playing bingo. Above all, he cherished moments with his family and friends, often cooking for them and sharing laughter.
A devout man, Chuy held his religious faith close to his heart, finding strength and solace in his beliefs. His presence will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Chuy's legacy lives on in the hearts of his loved ones, and his memory will continue to inspire those who remember his kindness and joy for life.
Chuy is survived by his siblings - Rosendo, Lucia, Leonardo, Marisela, Martin, Enrique, Silvia and Ramona; his brother-in-law, Jose O. Garcia, who was a father to him; his last surviving and favorite aunt, Manuela “Tia Nelly” Corrales, whom he loved so much; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Services will be held at Kirikos Family Funeral Home on Friday, May 30, 2025, starting with a visitation from 5:00-9:00 P.M., a Rosary will be recited at 6:00 P.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, May 31, 2025, at 1:00 P.M. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, officiated by Father Peter Okonkwo. Cremation will take place following the mass.
