MR. CURVIS “FROG” TRAHAN

CROWLEY – A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 24, 2025 at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Crowley, LA for Mr. Curvis “Frog” Trahan, 60, who entered eternal rest on Thursday, May 8, 2025 at his residence in Crowley, LA. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Crowley, LA.

Fr. Mark Odoguze will be officiating the funeral mass.

Mr. Trahan’s memories are being cherished: his mother, Ivory L. Solomon of Crowley, LA; one son, Leon (Carnisha) Bias of Crowley, LA; one daughter, Amber Cain (Leroy, III) of Jennings, LA; five brothers, Albert (Tenella) Solomon, Dwight Solomon, Michael (Josephia) Solomon, James Solomon and Darrelle (Nola) Solomon, all of Crowley, LA; seven sisters, Ella Handy (Louis, Jr.), Jeanette Clement (Kenneth), Maureen Trahan, Judy Hollier and Cynthia Hollier, all of Crowley, LA, Lovenia Hollier of Atlanta, GA and Elda Solomon of Lafayette, LA; one God daughter, Kennisha Hollier of Lafayette, LA; seven grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by: his father, Curvis Hollier; paternal grandparents, Herman Ovilegh and Lovenia Sennette; maternal grandparents, Eugene and Loretta Trahan, Sr.; one brother, Henry Solomon; and two sisters, Diana Trahan and Mary Beverly.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 24, 2025 from 8:00 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. at St. Theresa Catholic Church.
