Cornelius Felder Jr., 90, passed on Tuesday, May 27, 2025 in Columbus, GA.

Graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. EST on Monday, June 2, 2025 in Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery with Pastor Rod Green, officiating. Public viewing is 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. EST on Monday, June 2, 2025.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to First African Baptist Church - Youth Department in Cornelius Felder, Jr.’s name, to 901 Fifth Avenue, Columbus, GA 31901 or the charity of choice.

Cornelius Felder, Jr., 90, passed away on May 27, 2025 in Columbus, Georgia. He was born October 20, 1934 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvannia to the late Willie and Carrie Felder.

He served his country in the U.S. Army. He was proud of his service to our country. He earned numerous awards for his service and valor before retiring from the army.

He lived in Louisville, Kentucky for many years. He retired from General Electric Appliance Park in Louisville, KY in 1997. He was a member of the security team and a certified emergency medical technician (EMT).

His legacy will forever be cherished. His wife wishes to thank all medical personel and caregivers in Louisville, KY and Columbus, GA for the care they provided for many years.

He is survived by his loving wife, Agnes; his children; Wanda, Tony, Raymond, Cornelius, and Kenneth Felder; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, in laws and cousins. He also leaves behind a close-knit group of lifelong friends who loved him dearly.
