A Celebration of a Life Well Lived and a Woman Well Loved

“I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me crown of righteousness, which the Lord the righteousness judge, shall give me at that day; and not to me, but unto all them also that love his appearing.” II Timothy 4: 7 – 8

Fontella White – Haynes was born in Fairfax, South Carolina, to Maebell White and the late Bobby White.

She sought God’s direction at an early age and joined St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church.

Fontella attended the public schools of Allendale County and was a graduate of the class of 1984 at Allendale –Fairfax High School. After graduation, she became employed with Ernie’s Restaurant, Fairfax, South Carolina, for several years. She later became employed with Scotsman Ice Systems, where she was employed for 30 years before retiring. Fontella was well loved by her co – workers and classmates.

Fontella was joined in holy matrimony for 29 years to the love of her life, Everlonda “Lee” Haynes, and this union was blessed with one daughter, Chauntella Haynes.

She was an outgoing, hardworking person who loved to talk, laugh, and have fun. “Fon” as she was affectionately called, enjoyed spending time with her mother and helping her cater for many families and events.

She was resilient, beautiful, and a fighter until the end. Fontella kept the faith through the good and the bad.

Our Heavenly Father saw fit to call from labor to reward our beloved Fontella on Monday, May 26, 2025, in the comfort of her mother’s residence.
