Mr. Dwayne Wilson,38, of Gadsden, AL, passed away on Sunday, May 25, 2025.

Dewayne Christopher was born on April 3,1987 in Slidell LA to Ms. Toni Wilson & Dwayne Cousin. He attended Colonial Ford High School in Stafford, VA. Chris loved sports with his all-time favorite being football, going to church at United Faith Christian Ministry in Stafford, VA, and spending time with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his brothers Jeremy Wilson and Tevin Cousin.

He leaves to cherish his beautiful memories to: His spouse, Lawanda Liggons of Berkeley, CA; Children, King Wilson of Berkeley, CA, Nyashia Brooks of Stafford, VA, Aria Wilson and Brooklyn Wilson, both of Fredericksburg, VA; Mother, Toni Wilson of Gadsden, AL and Dwayne Cousin of LaComb, LA; Siblings, David Wilson and Justin Wilson, both of Gadsden, AL, and Dwayne Cousin Jr. of Slidell, LA; Grandparents, Rosemary Tillison of Picayune, MS., Randy (Jackie) Wilson of Stafford, VA., and Joyce Cousin of Slidell, LA.

Public viewing will be from 1pm-5pm, Thursday, June 12,2025.

Funeral services will be at 1:00pm at the Greater Ebenezer Baptist Church, Ohatchee, AL. Eulogist: Pastor Thyris Banks. Interment: Lincoln Hill Memorial Gardens.
