Mr. Sherwood Vanoy “Duck” Brown, 72, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, May 26, 2025. He was born on May 21, 1953, in Cleveland County, NC, to the late Malinda Brown.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at Changers Church, Shelby, NC at 3:30 p.m. The reception of family and friends will be from 3 until 3:30 p.m. The family will be meeting at 135 Douglas Street, Lawndale, NC, at all other times.
