David Peter Moffat,91, of New Bern a native of Monmouth, Illinois died Sunday, June 1, 2025.

His Graveside Service is 1:00 PM. Thursday, June 5, 2025 at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery 3005 Country Club Road, New Bern.

He is survived by his wife, Sondra Moffat of the home; son, David Moffat; daughters, Jennifer Moffat Brooks and Charlotte Moffat Clevenger; step-children, Lisa Gaskins Jefferson, Lori Gaskins and Robert Gaskins; fifteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his son, Robert Moffat.
