Doretha Respess Raynor,98, of Morehead City, NC., passed Monday, June 2, 2025, at Carteret Health Care.

Public viewing is Saturday, June 7, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM at Oscar’s Mortuary and Tuesday, 1:00 PM at St. Mark AME Zion Church.

Funeral services will be held, 2:00 PM, Tuesday, June 10, 2025 at St. Mark AME Zion Church, Morehead City (Mansfield Community), NC. Interment will follow at Gethsemane Memorial Park Cemetery Newport, NC.

She is survived by her three sons, Thomas Reginald Raynor (Imogene), Charleston, SC, Leslie Earl Raynor, Jr., Newport, NC, and Stephen Mark Raynor, Havelock, NC and her daughter, Katrina Lynette Raynor of the home; one son-in-law, Lucius Thomas, Newport, NC, seven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren.
