Edward Wade, 69, of 909 A St. Unit B., Martinsville, VA, passed away Friday, October 26, 2018 at SOVAH Health Martinsville. He was born January 11, 1949 in Westchester, NY to the late Adlean Sims Wade.

Edward is survived by his wife Doris Wade of the home, three sons, Kyle E. Wade, Kristian E. Wade and Khanan E. Wade all of Florida; two stepsons, Clinford Moyer of Florida; and Lamont Moyer (Lawanda) of Charlotte, NC; one stepdaughter, Tonya Moyer (Barry); nine grandchildren, one sister, Stella Burton of Chicago, IL; and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

He was a member of Reach Out Apostolic Tabernacle where is was a Deacon, Armor-Bearer, song in the Men's and Adult Choir, and the Parking Comittee. Edward retired from Bedford Hills Correctional Facility with 32 years of service.

The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service on Saturday, November 3, 2018 and all other times at the home 909 A. St.Unit B. Martinsville, VA. Funeral service will be held Saturday, November 3. 2018 at 2 p.m. at Reach Out Apostolic Tabernacle. Bishop Lorenzo Hall, Eulogist.

The burial will follow in Carver Memorial Gardens, Martinsville, VA.
