Troy Eugene Perdue, 59, of Sarasota, FL, passed away on May 24, 2025. Visitation will be held from 6:00pm-8:00pm on Fri., June 6, 2025 at Jones Funeral Home. Services will be held 1:00pm on Sat., June 7, 2025 at Bethel C.M.E. Church. Burial will be held at Galilee Cemetery. Funeral arrangements by jones Funeral Home.

Troy Eugene Perdue was born July 30, 1966 in Sarasota, FL, to the parents of Betty Jean Cornelius and Fletcher Perdue.

He was educated in Sarasota County School system. He worked numerous jobs, as well as a salesman for a bus company, until his health failed. Troy was a lover of his family as well as his church and enjoyed spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Troy Butler.

He have 25 brothers and sisters living.

Troy leaves to cherish his memories: a daughter, Shontajah; father, Fletcher Perdue; sisters, Tonya Meralus, Mesha Ford, Romena Ford, Rosalind Powe,, Tiffany Howard, Rose Marie Smith, Tanisha Sharee Perdue, Lisa Marie Wright, and Syreeth La'nett Perdue; brothers, Charles Cornelius, Current Perdue, Fletcher Perdue II, Johnny Week, Corey Dalton, Fletcher Perdue III, Bobby Howard, Fletcher Perdue IV, and Allen Perdue.
