Carrie Mae Dowdy, age 91 of Hull, GA passed June 3, 2025.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, June 7, 2025, 2:00 pm, at Colbert Grove Baptist Church, 1119 Colbert Grove Church Rd, Colbert, GA. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Public viewing will be held Friday, 1:00 - 6:00 pm, at the funeral home.

Survivors include: one daughter, Jacqueline (Jackie) Roach; her son-in-law, Fredrick Roach, of Hull, GA; one caring, loving brother-in-law and his sweet wife, Harrison (Patricia) Dowdy of Athens, GA; one
nephew, Darrin Dowdy and his partner, Blake Odom; paternal sister, Willie Sue Brown; paternal
brother, Daniel Carruth; a host of cousins, the Johnsons, Griffiths, Powers, Wilsons and more;
her Chestnut Grove sisters and brothers; and so many compassionate caregivers over the years
along with a hospice team.
