Mrs. LaKina Lavonne Pike Morgan was born on December 17, 1970, in Maryland. She was preceded in death by her mother, Jean Pike.

LaKina had a love for music which she expressed through dancing and singing. She was the life of any party and always the first to hit the dance floor. Driven by her desire to uplift the youth, she used music and fashion as creative outlets to inspire and empower them.

LaKina explored various sectors of healthcare and was very knowledgeable in the field. She often joked about being “Dr. Bombay, ”referencing" the quirky character from Bewitched.

After leaving Washington, D.C., LaKina made her home in High Point, NC where she resided for seven years.

She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.

LaKina is survived by her son Jaden Morgan; her father, Clyde Pike Jr. (Adeline); her sister, Lalani Pike; her brother, Thomas Pike (Preslyn); and three nieces, Melba Bryan, Harlym Pike, and Dallas Pike.
