Obituary For Mr. Jason Cooper

Mr. Jason Cooper passed. Celebration of life Memorial service will be held Saturday, November 10, 2018 12:00 noon at Grissom-Clark Eastlake Chapel.

We gather to rejoice in the life of Jason W. Cooper, born and raised in Hackensack N.J. He was the son of Evelyn Gloria H. Cooper and the late Willie Cooper; and the grandson of the late Archie E. Huyler and Prudence V. Huyler of Hackensack N.J.; and the late Henry Cooper Sr. and Lillie M. Cooper of Charlotte, N.C. From early childhood, Jason attended the Varick Memorial AME Zion Church, along with his parents and his maternal grandparents. As a youth he was active as a Boy Scout and a member of the YMCA of Greater Bergen County. During the summers especially, Jason enjoyed spending time with his aunts, uncles and cousins on the Cooper Farm in N.C. His passion for fishing started quite young, when vacationing on the shores of Sag Harbor, N.Y. Jason relocated to Stone Mountain, Georgia with his parents in 2004. In spite of not being very talkative, others felt comfortable and drawn to his quiet nature.
