"What moves through us is a silence, a quiet sadness, a longing for one more day, one more word, one more touch. We may not understand why you left this earth so soon, or why you left before we were ready to say good-bye, but little by little, we begin to remember not just that you died, but that you lived. And that your life gave us memories too beautiful to forget" The Hodges' Family Alice, Isolene, Shirley and Gwen

To lose someone is always a very very hard time for anyone. To lose a grandmother to me like Velma Coffield means losing someone that's not only was a all around wonderful person but to me even thought I was not her grandson through family, but that's what she called me wherever we went to. They say you get things out of life what you put in it. Velma Coffield put life into everyone she came across. She was not only a mother and grandmother to her family, but a teacher and a leader of life in order to bring someone to like that needed to here a special word from God that would change someones life. I'm very happy to have been a part of her life and that she allowed me to be a part of hers. You have your wings now and fly high to the heavens where you are now in his arms. No more pain, no more worries, no more nothing but rejoice. You will never be forgotten as you sleep in his grace. I love you untell we meet again. This is never a goodbye but jest see u later as I always say to you and Dada. To the Coffield Family, their will always be a place in my heart for the family. God bless you. Aunttwon Johnson.
