I am sorry to hear about your loss, death is something we all face at one time or another but it does not lessen the pain, but what really helps me is the promise that Jehovah God has made at John 5: 28,29 which tells us our love ones will not stay in the grave. We read "all those in memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out", isn't that comforting to know

I want to offer my condolences to the Flowers family. It is a painful thing to lose a love one in death. Take comfort in knowing that our Heavenly Father knows your pain and has promised to get rid of this enemy, death__ 1 Corinthians 15:26 "the last enemy, death, is to be brought to nothing.”; Isaiah 25:8 “he will swallow up death forever. And the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces.” He promised to awaken our love ones in the memorial tombs from asleep in death. Notice how this is beautifully expressed at Isaiah 26:19 “Your dead will rise ...Awake and shout joyfully you residents in the dust! ...the earth will let those powerless in death come to life.” Exquisite joy it will be to see our love ones again! I hope these words give you all comfort.
