Memorial services for Mr. Charlie Hudson, 70, of 208 Hay Street Allendale, SC will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 24, 2018 at Allendale Community Funeral Home. Burial will follow at St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church cemetery.

Mr. Charlie Hudson Jr. was called home Thursday November 8, 2018 at Pruitt Health North Augusta. He was born January 27, 1948 to the late Charlie Hudson, Sr. and Odessa Hudson both of whom preceded him in death. One Sister, Marriah Epps and One Brother Browley Hudson also preceded him in death. Charlie graduated from C.V. Bing High School in Allendale, SC where he excelled as an athlete on the football team. After graduating he served 2 years in the United States Navy. Upon returning home he moved to New York and began work at New York Department of Sanitation, then Amtrak for many years. Charlie enjoyed sports, animals, fishing and hunting but most of all his family. He was also an excellent cook.

Charlie leaves to cherish his memory four children Marcel Hudson(Valerie) and Tracee Hudson of Atlanta, GA Anthony Scott of Myrtle Beach, SC and Anthony Rollins(Denise) of Anchorage, AK; eleven grandchildren and several great grandchildren; two sisters Screll Jones(Wilbert) of Cincinnati, OH and Mary Junior(Richard) of Fairfax, SC; one brother Otis Hudson(Cheryl) of Houston, TX; one Aunt Mrs. Florrie Capers of Augusta, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends

Friends may call at the residence of his sister, Mary (Richard) Junior at 219 Feed Lot Road Fairfax, SC or at the funeral home.
