Obituary For John Rodney Pruitt

MR. JOHN RODNEY PRUITT – Age 59, - Of Cartersville, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at a local hospital. He was a member of the Baptist faith, a United States Army Veteran, and a graduate of Cass high School. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joel Pruitt and Elizabeth Gay Pruitt, brother, Joel Herman Pruitt, sisters, Marie Pruitt, and Ora Lee Brown.

He is survived by his loving sisters, Phyllis Harris, Deborah Johnson, of Cartersville, Georgia; brother, Kenneth (Debra) Woodard of Fayetteville, Georgia; three aunts, Estelle Hardy of Atlanta, Georgia, Roberta Rasberry of Jacksonville, Florida, Thelma Gay of Cartersville; uncle, Willie (Rowena) Gay of Indiana; special niece, Denise Maddox; a host of other nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, two great great nieces, one to be announced, cousins, relatives, and friends.

Memorial Service will be Monday, November 19, 2018 at 3:00 P. M. at Greater Mount Olive Baptist Church, 1 Mount Olive Street, Cartersville, Georgia with Pastor Randy Livsey officiating.
