Obituary For Larry Roberts

MR. LARRY ROBERTS - Age 70, of Dalton, Georgia, passed away Friday, November 16, 2018 at the residence with his family at his bedside. He was born on September 24, 1948 to the late LeRoy Roberts, Sr. and Mary V. Harris. He was a Veteran of the United States Marines. He was a 1968 graduate of Dalton High School, a member of Bethel A.M.E. Church and retired from M.F.G. Chemicals.

Survivors are his wife of 46 years and the love of his life, Melvene Mack Roberts; daughter, Iris Roberts; sons, Lamar Roberts of Dalton, Georgia, and Kelvin Wells of Cleveland, Tennessee; grandchildren, Ladashja Roberts, Keellyn Roberts, Kelvin Roberts, Jr. and Perishia Wells; sister, Dianne Harris of Dalton, GA.; brothers, Sandy (Delores) Harris of Dalton, and Steve Craig of Florida; aunt, Delores (Robert “Bob”) Jones of Dalton ; sisters-in-law, Shirley Nared, Alice Chiles, Edith (Joey) Shropshire, and Helen S. Mack; aunt, Minnie Ann Roberts; uncle, Jerome Roberts; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Graveside Service with full Military Honors will be held Friday, November 23, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at the Chattanooga National Cemetery with Bishop Reuben Graham officiating.
