David “Duck” Lee McCollum was born on February 15, 1964 in Dillon County, South Carolina to Nora Lee McCollum and the late Fred James McCollum. He departed this earthly life on Wednesday, November 15, 2018 at McLeod Medical Center in Dillon, South Carolina.

He attended the public schools in Dillon County, South Carolina.

Duck worked for Perdue Farms, Dillon, South Carolina for many years. He was a faithful member of St. Matthew AME Church in Hamer, South Carolina until his demise. He was an active member of Holiday Lodge #456.

Duck was preceded in death by his father: Fred James McCollum; five aunts and one uncle.

Duck leaves to cherish his fond and loving memories ~ a daughter: Ke’Ashia Sa’Quisha Monique McCollum; a son: Quan’Daveon Le’Darius McCollum of Clio, South Carolina; two sisters: Linda I. Manning of Hamer, South Carolina and Jacqueline (Leroy) Glaze of Tampa, FL; one brother: Freddie (Sarah) McCollum of Hamer, South Carolina; special cousins: Stephanie N. Myers of Latta, South Carolina and Montrisha Bethea of High Point, North Carolina; ten aunts; six uncles and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, other relatives and friends.
