MR. HENRY LEE SMITH – AGE 90, - of Cartersville, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at the home of his daughter and son-in-law at 807 Tennessee Street. He was retired from Clorox Corporation after many years of service. He was a Deacon of Pine Grove Independent Church and his hobby that he loved was repairing appliances. He was preceded in death by his parents, Isiah Smith and Jenni Dye Smith, brother, Frank Smith, sisters, Dora Green, Susie Mae Edwards and Ruby Green Horton.

He is survived by his two daughters, Linda (William) Mayes of Cartersville, Georgia, Pastor Mary (Valentine) Anyanwu of Brandwine, Maryland; one aunt; grandchildren, one great grandchild, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Honoring the life of Mr. Henry Lee Smith, service will be held on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. at the Mount Zion Baptist Church, 147 Jones Street, Cartersville, Georgia with Rev. Frank Johnson as Eulogist, Rev. Reginald LaGrone as Presider, and other ministers officiating. The family will receive friends at the Pine Grove Independent Church on Monday, November 26, 2018 from 7:00 – 8:00 P.M. The family will receive friends at Mount Zion Baptist Church one hour before the service. Interment, Oak Hill Cemetery. The repast will follow after the service at the Pine Grove Independent Church at 22 Pine Grove Church Road, N. E., Cartersville.
