Obituary For Fannie Pender Jordan

MRS. FANNYE PENDER JORDAN – Age 80, - Of Dalton, Georgia passed away on Friday, November 23, 2018 at Hamilton Medical Center. Fannye was a Licensed Practical Nurse at Ridgewood Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation for over twenty years. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Buford Pender, Sr. and Frances L. Wofford Pender Baker, stepfather, James Baker, two sons, Mickel David Jordan, Anthony Jordan, two brothers, Michael David Pender, and James Howard Pender.

She leaves in remembrance her husband, James Jordan, Jr.; two sons, James (Kimberly) Jordan, III, Eric Jordan; grandchildren, Lanee Cobb, Alterez Jordan, Jillian Jackson, Kristian Jordan; great grandchildren; sister, Betty Goode; brother, Buford Pender, Jr.; sisters-in-law, Christine Reed, Doris Smith, and Mildred Harold; nieces, nephews, cousins; special friends, Iva Lee Macon, Tonya E. Winters; other relatives, and friends.

Homegoing Service for the Life of Fannye Jordan will be on Thursday, November 29, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at New Hope Baptist Church, 900 Roan Street, Dalton, with Pastor Kenneth Scaife as Eulogist and Rev. Rodney Weaver as Presider. Her remains will lie in state at the funeral home on Wednesday after 11:00 A.M. Interment, West Hill Cemetery.
