Lila Melvin, 93 of Fuquay - Varina, NC passed on November 23, 2018 at Transitions Lifecare in Raleigh, NC. Lila was preceded in death by her husband, David Clayton Melvin. She leaves her daughter, Brenda Joyce Womble Garrett (Wallace); son, Michael Anthony Melvin; grandchildren, Wallene Denice Garrett, Sharllene Denise Garrett, Kia Janee Garrett, and Corey Omar Melvin; great-grandchildren, Darrius Allen Garrett, Jarsha Allen Garrett, and Jaylen Alexander Garrett; nieces, Janiece Hicks Smith and Sandra Theresa Jacob; and a host of other relatives and friends.
